THE SECRET DOOR is expanding and we’re looking for team members to be based in our Paros Office.

We are looking for individuals who are driven, flexible, excited to be part of a business that is growing by pioneering new and ambitious projects. We are currently recruiting for two positions. One positions to start as soon as possible, the second to start in the first trimester of 2019.


Your role will span across our 4 divisions, and would incorporate a mix of:

  • Responding to requests.
  • Requesting offers and quotes.
  • Taking and securing reservations.
  • Greeting customers on check-ins.
  • Providing concierge services, such as booking restaurants, babysitters etc.
  • Sourcing new vendors and suppliers when needed.
  • Supporting on events.
  • Introducing new services/projects to stakeholders.
  • Supporting other team members when necessary.
  • Daily operational support.
  • Excellent client service and solid relationships with suppliers will need to be at the heart of all you do.


  • Excellent customer service.
  • A warm yet professional manner and disposition on the telephone, email and in person.
  • English and Greek, spoken and written to a profession standard.
  • French, spoken and written to an average and above level is a plus.
  • Experience working in an office, with advanced knowledge of programs such as Word, Excel and especially PowerPoint.
  • You must be very organized, proactive, thorough and have a high level of attention to detail.
  • Quick thinking and problem solving will be a frequent occurrence in your daily tasks.
  • While you will receive the support you require, confidence in your abilities, being able to organize your own time and being comfortable to work unsupervised is imperative.
  • Experience in Sales and Marketing especially Social Media will be helpful but is not a critical requirement.
  • We value good open communication in our team and candidates should enjoy being part of a team unit, leading but also taking direct instruction when necessary.
  • A good knowledge of Paros and its world of activities would count in your favor.
  • Experience in the weddings, events, client service, tourism and/or hospitality industries will be highly regarded.
  • The job is mainly office based but you will be required to run errands and work away from the office at time. A driver license and own transport is essential.
  • Applicants must have the right to live and work in Greece, with any necessary visas already in place, and should hold a full driving license.
  • A laptop will be provided. The necessity of an office mobile phone will depend on the position you will be placed in. Business calls and fuel expenses will be covered.
  • We do not offer accommodation.
  • Salary will be discussed based on the role you accept, and your previous experience.
  • For the right candidate(s) there is scope to specialize in a specific area of the business, incorporating the relevant experience you may possess, on a long-term contract.
